Elective Alistair gaining experience.

Medical Elective Alistair has kept us updated with his experience to date, in the Gorkha hospital.  We weren’t sure what to expect as this is a new hospital so a bit unknown. However, it clearly has been a varied and valuable placement. He has spent time in the Emergency Department, Paediatrics, Theatre and Gynaecology.  Such a wide range of conditions from Gastroenteritis, TB,  Bronchiolitis, acute alcohol withdrawal, appendicitis and Wasp stings, causing angioedema and potentially rhabdomyolysis.
