First School toilets partly funded by GDS now in operation

Funds were provided by the charity to help with the building a toilet block at a small rural school near Gorkha town.  Details and photographs will be available shortly.  It is hoped that it will be possible to help other schools in the region to build schools and improve the sanitation in schools and so improve childrens health.

If you would like to help fund the building of a school toilet we would be thrilled to hear from you.  £1,500 is needed for each toilet project which is about half of the real cost.  The school and parents will then help with funds and labour to make this a joint project.
