Fundraising in Australia – THANK YOU Elise and friends

Our recent Occupational Therapist Elise Kearle has raised $785 Australian dollars – nearly £400 for GDS through her Facebook and online fundraising efforts.  Elise spent 3 weeks in Gorkha in January working mainly in the hospital but also getting involved in School Hygiene, Womens Health and Teacher Training programmes. Elise sent us a great report of her experience which potential volunteers have described as ‘inspiring’.Elises report . We therefore send many THANKS to Elise for her contributions whilst in Gorkha and now her efforts upon returning home to support the community she lived with.
