Inheritance donation in memory of Peggy Shelley

We would like to pass on our thanks for the very kind donation of £100 received recently in memory of Peggy Shelley.  A friend of GDS was one of Peggy’s 28 Grandchildren and she wanted to do something useful with the money received from Peggys will and so agreed that it be put towards the 50 blankets bought for the hospital in December.  Dr Tiwari at the hospital was very grateful and so many patients will gain from this wonderful donation –  especially in Winter when the temperature goes to just 3-4 degrees centigrade and there is no heating!. Blankets therefore can make all the difference to patients but of course can be difficult to keep clean. In addition, we have now organised easily removable and washable covers to be made for the blankets to keep them clean and protected.
