Presentation of sponsorship to 56 children

Children from 6 local schools were invited to Balmandir school to be presented with their sponsorship from GDS. Teachers had selected the children as most in need of support and they were provided with new uniforms to include rucksacks and shoes together with school equipment and writing books for the year from the Gorkha committee GDHEDS. Balmandir, as many schools have recently been re-built after structural damage caused by the 2015 earthquake and school is no longer in corrugated sheds!
