Schools re-open – with caution

After 18 months of disruption, schools in Gorkha have reopened with caution. Though many schools and children have tried to provide some online education, the poorest children have had no access to any computers or phones to access any online teaching and have received little face to face teaching. Attendance may be morning or afternoon only  in larger schools to reduce risk of Covid but we are aware that already there has had to be some local closures when teachers/ children are unwell with fevers. Let us hope that the schools can mainly remain open and somehow children are now able to make progress.
