Volunteer Alistair’s Medical Elective report 

As reported earlier this year, volunteer Alistair was our first Medical Elective since pre Covid.  Based at the newly built hospital in Gorkha, Alistair received a warm welcome and spent time gaining valuable experience in a variety of departments. He saw illnesses and diseases not commonly seen in the UK and noted the resourcefulness of Doctors to deal with situations when resources are limited.
