Volunteer arrival in Gorkha – first for 3 years!

 Megan Sadler recently arrived in Gorkha to work with local teachers and share teaching skills. Arranged through GDS, Megan from Burnham on Crouch in Essex, took the long bus ride from Kathmandu and arrived in Gorkha where she was  given a warm welcome by members of the committee, Laxman, Sarita, Ram Chandra and Yong Kumar. She was then welcomed into her homestay with Lila and family where she will be based for her stay. 

As Covid restrictions prevented volunteers from travelling to Nepal for so long, everyone is thrilled that the programme is once again up and running.
