Widford Lodge School raise £180.00 at book sale

The children of Vikings house at Widford Lodge Prep School in Chelmsford held a book sale earlier this year and raised a fantastic £180.00.  Music teacher Naomi Poole prompted the sale and Linda Blunt was asked to the school to make a presentation to the children and receive the cheque for the Nepal Charity.

The children were so keen to learn about the country and were in disbelief that a school could be without toilets as 40% of the schools in Nepal are.  The money raised will go towards another toilet building and hygiene project in Gorkha. Many thanks to everyone who donated and bought the books.
