GDHEDS asked for EMERGENCY help.

Links between Gorkha and Trishuli river area are historic through trade routes and so close connections between communities remain. In the 2015 earthquake which devastated Gorkha, then even though separated by vast hills there was great support.Today, Trishuli Lions Club made personal contact with GDHEDS chair Laxman to ask for emergency help.

As the town of Trishuli is now cut off from the main access road then clothes, blankets, water purifying tablets and sanitary items have been requested. GDHEDS will try to purchase the items locally, and aim to cross the rugged hillside via roads made more treacherous by the current monsoon.
