Emergency items arrive in Gorkha, and packaged ready for delivery.

After sourcing the items requested, in Kathmandu and Chitwan, the vendors loaded boxes onto buses which took 2 days to reach Gorkha, due to large sections of the highway missing, caused by the heavy monsoon rain and landslides.

In Gorkha the team sorted into 80 packages each containing kitchen items, clothing and undergarments plus items essential to maintain hygiene and sanitation. Plans were then made to travel to the disaster area.
