Loaded ready for the twelve hour treacherous journey to disaster area.

Four of the Gorkha committee, Laxman, Sarita, Yong Kumar and Ikchha Kumar, reserved a 4WD Mahindra Bolero Jeep with a skilled driver, which was loaded with roughly 800kg of emergency supplies.

On September 12th the Gdheds team completed a challenging and arduous 12-hour journey from Gorkha, navigating steep hills, dirt roads, and monsoon-damaged terrain, guided by local handwritten route to get to the destination of Shanti Bazaar, Nuwakot, near the Trisuli River on September 12th and 13th, 2026.
