In early December we were requested to fund jumpers for children in school to help them through the winter cold. We sent £1,000 which bought 300 jumpers – 200 for Mahendra Jyoti Higher Secondary School and 100 for Bal Mandir plus the supplier gave an extra 25 jumpers for free which was so kind. The fresh foliage wreaths have again been made and sold for Christmas and together with donations has raised £350. Lin again collected material from her Dads, made frames from willow stems to create the wreaths to sell to friends. Volunteer Zoe returned from her volunteering in Gorkha followed by travels in Asia and a return visit to Gorkha after the earthquake. Now back home she fronts a local magazine and aims do do several presentations to local groups near Bromyard, Herefordshire.
