Writtle WI – Lin introduces GDS

A great turn out of members of this thriving WI in the beautiful Writtle village, together with a wonderful warm welcome made a lovely evening as Lin returned to Writtle where she taught horticulture for 20 years. Thanks to the ladies for such a supportive response to Lins presentation on the work of the charity and for the fantastic interest in supporting children in Gorkha through the School Sponsorship programme.

£150 was raised on the night from speaker fees, plant sales and donations.Thanks to everyone who helped organise and who attended and supported GDS
