Landslides cause delays with transport.
The main highway from Kathmandu to Gorkha was closed and many rural roads and bridges washed away due to the flooding, landslides and the current monsoon season.
Though supplies requested by the flood torn region have now been sourced from Gorkha, Chitwan and Kathmandu, the GDHEDS team in Gorkha are facing such difficulties to get the emergency supplies where they are needed and we thank them for their amazing efforts we will keep you updated.
