Founder member Perusotum is mourned.

We are sad to announce the loss of GDHEDS founder and long term committee member in Gorkha, Perusotum Aryall. 40 years ago Headmaster Perustum met an English lady on the remote footpath near his school. This lady was Joy Leighton, he invited her to join him at his school and the rest is history. Together they founded GDHEDS (Nepal) & GDS (UK) charities, to support the poorest people in the community of Gorkha District. Helping thousands of people over the years. This is what we continue doing today, as shown by emergency help in the recent devastating floods and our regular annual programmes in Gorkha.
